David credits Andy Halliday for bringing him out of "showbiz retirement," and is proud to be part of Slightly Dangerous - both as performer and as designer and programmer of the Slightly Dangerous website.
David's past performance credits include Phantom (Gateway Playhouse), Wild Blue (world premiere, Human Race Theatre Company), My Favorite Year (Benjy Stone, NYC) Philosophy of the World (GEVA Theatre), Flyer (NYC) and his own cabaret-style show titled Dreaming Now. In 2002 he starred in the world premiere production of Almost Heaven: Songs and Stories of John Denver at the Denver Center Theatre Company. David played Father Virgil in the National Tours of Nunsense Jamboree and Nuncrackers, and performed the role of Sister Mary Leo in the Off-Broadway company of Nunsense A-Men. Other roles include P.T. Barnum in Barnum, Nicely-Nicely Johnson in Guys and Dolls, Mortimer in The Fantasticks, Rooster Hannigan in Annie, Tom Sawyer in Big River, and many others. His film credits include the independent features Just Add Pepper and As Cool As Jennifer.
David started his web company, Basement Broadway, in 2001 when he created a website showcasing his work as an actor. Six months after launching his site, friends began asking David to design sites for them and their businesses, and things have steadily grown to an active client list which includes Pocketwatch Films and Slightly Dangerous.
